Description
Rosa ‘The Pilgrim’ is a stunning English climbing rose, named after the pilgrims in Chaucer’s famous work, ‘The Canterbury Tales’. This rose bears exquisite, soft yellow, chalice-shaped blooms, which gradually turn paler towards the edges. The blooms have a pleasant, medium-strong fragrance and are borne in large clusters, making a magnificent display throughout the summer. The growth habit of this rose is bushy and vigorous, with glossy, dark green foliage that contrasts beautifully with the blooms. It is an excellent choice for mixed borders and as a specimen plant. Bred by David Austin, ‘The Pilgrim’ has good disease resistance, making it a low-maintenance addition to any garden.
