Erica gracilis is a Heather which is hardy down to a temperature of 5 to 1. It will grow up to a height of 0.1-0.5m and a spread of 0.1-0.5m. Erica gracilis will reach full maturity in 2-5 years and requires Full Sun and an sheltered position. It will produce White flowers in Autumn and Winter. Erica gracilis is Evergreen and has foliage that is Green. It requires moist, well-drained soil and can handle a soil PH of Acid or Neutral. The plant’s botanical name is Erica gracilis, however it is also known as Cape Heath. Due to its tenderness in frost, it is recommended this plant is grown indoors. It can also be grown outdoors but will not survive the Winter, although its flowers will continue to provide some colour once the plant is dead.
